New CS2 Maps are Coming – and Gabe’s Emoji Code Might Just Reveal Them

It’s that time again. The CS2 community’s favourite data miner, Gabe Follower, dropped a strange little emoji tweet—and no, he hasn’t been hacked by a toddler. This cryptic message likely teases what’s next for Armoury Pass Part 2, and for once, it’s not about skins or stickers. This one’s all about maps.
Valve rarely gives us any kind of heads up before dropping content, so this could land any day now. Here’s what those emoji clues suggest is heading to CS2 very soon:
🗺️ Decoding the Emoji Map Teasers
Here’s the full tweet Gabe dropped:

And here’s what each likely represents:
🐙 Grail: That octopus emoji screams Grail, a Mapcore contest winner with an unmistakable art style. It’s been praised for clean design and could easily become a community favourite.
🐶 Dogtown: A beachy, pier-side map inspired by the Santa Monica area, filled with personality (and animatronic weirdness). That dog emoji was the giveaway.
🍺 Fakberg or Brewery: The Oktoberfest-style Fakberg or industrial-style Brewery are packed with beer barrels and tight chokepoints. Either way, 🍺 = banger.
🇵🇱 Jura: The Polish flag points to Jura, an open-air map likely set in Polish countryside ruins. Expect long-range duels and a striking atmosphere.
☢️ Cache: Classic, radioactive Cache—likely returning to CS2 with a fresh coat of Source 2 polish. This is the kind of nostalgia players actually want.
👨💼📄 Agency (or Warden): While some reckon this might hint at Warden (a prison map), the document + office worker combo screams Agency—an iconic CS:GO hostage map set in an advertising firm. Fits the emoji far better, and it’s a long-overdue comeback.
This means that, potentially, we have six maps, landing in the next CS2 update. Based on past patterns, expect some current community maps to be rotated out when these go live.
What Else Could Be Coming With It?
While maps are likely the main course here, a few side dishes could still make it onto the table:
Minor gameplay adjustments or bug fixes
Maybe even the first batch of community charms—there’s been plenty floating around, and they’re long overdue
New skins? Probably not—Valve just dropped a case with the last Armoury Pass, so it’s unlikely they’ll double up this soon
Stickers? We definitely need some fresh slaps. Some more abstract shapes for crafting wouldn't go amiss.
And yes, everyone’s still praying for anti-cheat upgrades, but let’s not kid ourselves...
What to Do Before It Drops
Keep an eye on official announcements or Gabe’s updates
Get your current XP grind done in case missions or maps rotate out (Anubis?)
Think ahead for trading—new map = possible future skin themes, and early movement usually gives you the edge.
In Summary
The teaser is not just emojis—it’s a roadmap to what might be the most exciting CS2 update since launch. If even half of these maps land, it’ll bring a welcome refresh to rotation. Themed, polished, and with just the right dose of nostalgia (👀 Cache, Agency)—it’s looking like a win across the board.
Gabe’s tweet didn’t leak the whole story, but it leaked enough. Stay alert, stay stocked, and stay ready to update—because your next warm-up map might be brand new.
